Have a child that is age birth to 4 that does not already attend DES? We would love to have that child and their caregiver attend toddler time with us tomorrow (Tuesday, January 10th) morning at 8:15! First 10 children will get a free copy of “S is for Snow”.


3K and 4K Application Process is Open for the 2023-24 School Year!

Mr. Chapman enjoyed taking time on Tuesday to read to pre-K, K5 and 1st grade students. Some classes showed their love with a big group hug!





Congratulations to Reid Holder who had the most growth in DreamBox math for 2nd Grade since September! Way to go, Reid!

Our DSO sponsored Santa Shop continues until Friday. Students may bring money to purchase gifts for family and friends.





Fifth grade got to work with students from the career center today to build birdhouses to take home. They used hammers, drills, pre-cut wood pieces, and measurement tools to help them work today.

Canned Food Drive


Today is the last day to nominate a teacher in SDPC to participate in the Extra Yard for Teachers challenge. In partnership with Eckrich, the Extra Yard for Teachers is giving teachers the chance to win $1 Million to fund classroom resources!
If selected, your teacher will be able to participate in the throw during the Clemson University vs. Miami game on November 19, 2022, where they will be eligible to win $1 million to fund classroom resources.
