eLearning - 2/2/26 and 2/3/26

Due to hazardous travel conditions following this weekend’s winter weather, the School District of Pickens County will operate on eLearning on Monday, February 2, and Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Students will not attend school in person on either day.

Monday and Tuesday will be the fourth and fifth eLearning Days used during the 2025–26 school year.

eLearning Days allow students to make up days missed due to inclement weather or other emergencies by completing a set of assignments within 5 school days of returning to school. As a reminder, SDPC is approved by the South Carolina Department of Education to use up to five eLearning days per school year for short-term disruptions such as weather.

Once eLearning days are exhausted, any additional closures would shift to the next available make-up days identified on the district calendar. These days are February 13, April 3, and April 10 on the 2025-26 school calendar.

As we look ahead to Wednesday, our team will continue monitoring conditions across the county, particularly how temperatures and road conditions improve. We are hopeful that conditions will allow us to return to normal school operations as soon as safely possible. A decision for Wednesday will be made on Tuesday afternoon.
