Free Summer Meals

The School District of Pickens County is proud to offer free, healthy meals to children throughout the summer as part of the USDA's Seamless Summer Meal Program. This initiative ensures that all children under the age of 18 - and individuals 21 or younger with physical or mental disabilities enrolled in school - receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.


Daily Meals at School Sites (June 1 - July 24, 2026)

Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday (excluding July 4) at the following schools:

  • Liberty Elementary School | 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. ; 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

SUN Meals To-Go - Summer Meals Program

New to SDPC this summer, we are offering 7-day shelf-stable and fresh produce meal kits for families who prefer a weekly pick-up option. These SUN Meals To-Go are available to any child under 18, regardless of school enrollment, and will be distributed every Thursday beginning June 4, 2026.

Meal Kit Pick-Up Sites and Times:

  • Dacusville Elementary | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • Crosswell Elementary | 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Ambler Elementary | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    Six Mile Elementary | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Arial Baptist Church (Easley/Pickens Area) | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • ALIVE Wesleyan Church (Liberty/Central Area) | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Dacusville Community Center (Easley/Pickens Area) | 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Golden Creek Baptist Church (Liberty Area) | 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Hagood Mill (Pickens Area) | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Families only need to register once to participate for the full 8-week program.

Please note:

  • Children may only receive meals from one site.

  • If your child is attending a program that provides daily meals (such as summer school or Camp iRock), they are not eligible for SUN Meals To-Go.
